In a jaw-dropping moment, Jenn told one of her final suitors, “I can’t let you propose to me.” But that wasn’t the end of the surprises. Months before, in Hawaii, Jenn ended her relationship with Marcus Shoberg because he hesitated to show her the love and commitment she was looking for. The 26-year-old aspiring physician assistant realized he wasn’t ready to give her what she needed, leading to a dramatic conclusion to her journey for love.
During the live show, Jesse Palmer interrupted to let everyone know that there wasn’t going to be a happy ending.
Jenn then came out on stage, crying, to explain that while she did get engaged to her final pick in Hawaii, they had since broken up.

Devin Bachelorette: Jenn’s Heartbreaking Reveal and Devin’s Regret:
Jenn shared that Devin ended their engagement with a quick 15-minute phone call in August, right while the show was still on.
“He said he didn’t love me anymore and didn’t feel the same way,” Jenn explained, adding that Devin even claimed he was never really in love. With her mom in the audience, visibly upset, Jenn mentioned that Devin wouldn’t agree to couples’ counseling and didn’t want to try saving their relationship.
Devin then came on stage with Jenn and Jesse to give his side. He admitted, “I failed you, but my feelings for you were real.” Devin said he had a lot of doubts during their two-month engagement and tried to be open about them.
When Jenn questioned his honesty, Devin admitted, “I should have been more upfront sooner. You’re right about that.”

Devin Bachelorette: Jenn’s Instagram Accusations and Devin’s Apologies:
Jenn also accused Devin of following Maria Georgas on Instagram the day after their breakup. (Georgas had also been a contender for the “Bachelorette” lead.)
Devin responded, “I can’t excuse following her on Instagram; I know it hurt you.” He added, “I clearly failed you, and there’s nothing more I can say.”
During this time, Rachel Recchia, another former “Bachelorette” who experienced her own heartbreak, was seen wiping away tears in the audience. Jenn also claimed Devin went out clubbing with Jeremy Simon, who finished fourth on her season, shortly after they broke up. Devin defended himself, saying he was in town for a client meeting and questioned, “Am I not allowed to live my life?”

Jenn further accused Devin of being indifferent to their breakup, even though he had claimed to understand how much it hurt. Devin insisted he came to “After the Final Rose” to check on Jenn and admitted responsibility for making her unhappy once the cameras were off.
“I saw you grow and become an amazing woman on your own. None of us on the show made you who you are,” Devin said. “I fell short of the expectations in the real world and couldn’t live up to what you need and deserve.”
